Come down and take a look around, try a range of activities and meet our fantastic team - they'll be on hand to answer all of your questions. Plus, we’ll have exclusive offers available across the weekend! 

Don't worry, you don't need to be a member of our leisure centre, or have visited us before to get involved over our Big Open Weekend. The best part, you can bring the family along, a friend, or just pop down on your own.

Taster Swimming Lessons

Whether you're looking to sharpen your swim strokes or build confidence in the water, this special session is perfect for swimmers of all abilities. Led by expert instructors, it’s a great chance to dive in, learn new techniques, and enjoy the pool - exclusively free for the weekend! 

Saturday 7th March:

  • 12pm - 12.30pm: Non Swimmers (Pre-school)
  • 12pm - 12.30pm: Beginners
  • 12pm - 12.30pm: Adult & Toddler
  • 12.30pm - 1pm: Beginners
  • 12.30pm - 1pm: Adult & Baby
  • 12.30pm - 1pm: Non Swimmers (Reception - 7 years)
  • 1pm - 1.30pm: Non Swimmers (Pre-school)

Thrive Pilates class focuses on strength, stability, posture, proper breath control, and flexibility. Each class will work to balance all muscle groups' strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. Classes will be taught using slow, controlled movements.

Indoor Cycling Indoor cycling is a high-intensity exercise on a stationary bike to music. It combines cardio and endurance training in a 45-minute calorie-crunching session. Not only is it great for your cardiovascular fitness, but it’s also great at toning your muscles and gaining strength. Indoor cycling will target your quads, hamstrings, glutes, calves and your core. The biggest plus is its low impact on your joints.

Body Attack A high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for total beginners to total addicts. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. A LES MILLS instructor will pump out energizing tunes and lead you through the workout, challenging your limits in a good way, burning up to 555 calories and leaving you with a sense of achievement.
